The Suturing Video I Made For Beginners
The first time holding a needle holder can feel awkward. By the fiftieth, the movement starts to become yours. You want the 1st and the 50th time to be in your own home so that the 51st looks good when you have to do it in real life or an exam.
I made this tutorial below to help you from 1 to 50. But I did something different to everybody else on the internet - i filmed it live so you can see my mistakes and how I fixed them!
It doesn't take long to master suturing, you can do the video in 1 day or in 3 months, the choice is yours. But to be excellent, you need to start, progress, finish and repeat, improving one thing at least each repeition.

Start with the right home practice setup
A good practice station at home does not need to look like an operating theatre. It needs to be clean, consistent, and easy to reset.
The kit below is the kit I use in the video - the skin pad is reusuable for upto 4- 6 months if you use it weekly, even longer if less so. It comes with:
