ABOUT MedPrep

MedSync’s goal is to encourage students from an early stage to explore medicine as a career. We run 3 interactive workshops with the students as part of our MedPrep course:

 

• The first in year 11: exploring healthcare careers & medicine and what universities look for academically and extra-cirricularly

 

• The second in year 12: Looking at work experience, medical schools, the application process, preparing for interviews and a practical skills station on suturing with each student having the opportunity to suture.

 

• The third in year 13: Students have the chance to experience mock interviews with a doctor on a one-to-one basis.
